Officers

Daniel W. Rabun, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Rabun joined Ensco in March 2006 as President and Director. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2007. Before joining Ensco, Mr. Rabun was a partner at the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie LLP where he practiced law for 20 years. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University.

William S. Chadwick, Jr. , Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Chadwick joined the Company in June 1987 and was elected to his present position of Executive Vice President–Chief Operating Officer effective January 2006. Prior to his current position, Mr. Chadwick served the Company as Senior Vice President–Operations, Senior Vice President, Member–Office of the President and Chief Operating Officer, Vice President–Administration and Secretary. Mr. Chadwick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

J. Mark Burns, Senior Vice President – Western Hemisphere

Mr. Burns joined the Company in June 2008 and was elected Senior Vice President - Western Hemisphere in May 2011. Prior to his current position, Mr. Burns served the Company as Senior Vice President, and as President of Ensco Offshore International Company, a subsidiary of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, he served in various international roles with Noble Corporation including Vice President & Division Manager of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Burns holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in business and political science from Sam Houston State University. In 2007, Mr. Burns was named IADC Drilling Contractor of the Year.

John S. Knowlton, Senior Vice President – Technical

Mr. Knowlton joined the Company in June 1998 and was elected Senior Vice President - Technical in May 2011. Prior to his current position, Mr. Knowlton served the Company as Vice President – Engineering & Capital Projects, General Manager – North & South America, Operations Manager – Asia Pacific Rim, and Operations Manager overseeing the construction and operation of the Company’s first semi-submersible ENSCO 7500. Before joining the Company, Mr. Knowlton served in various domestic and international capacities with Ocean Drilling & Exploration Company and Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. Mr. Knowlton holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Tulane University.

P. Carey Lowe, Senior Vice President – Eastern Hemisphere

Mr. Lowe joined the Company in August 2008 and was elected Senior Vice President - Eastern Hemisphere in May 2011. Prior to his current position, Mr. Lowe served as Senior Vice President with responsibilities for the Deepwater Business Unit, safety, health and environmental matters, capital projects, engineering and strategic planning. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Lowe was Vice President–Latin America for Occidental Oil & Gas. He also served as President & General Manager, Occidental Petroleum of Qatar Ltd. from 2001 to 2007. Mr. Lowe held various drilling-related management positions with Sedco Forex and Schlumberger Oilfield Services from 1980 to 2000, including Business Manager–Drilling, North and South America, and General Manager–Oilfield Services, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait. Following Schlumberger, he was associated with a business-to-business e-procurement company until he joined Occidental in 2001. Mr. Lowe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Tulane University.

Kevin C. Robert, Senior Vice President – Marketing

Mr. Robert joined the Company in May 2011 as Senior Vice President-Marketing in connection with the acquisition of Pride International, Inc. He served as Vice President, Marketing at Pride in March 2005 and became Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development in May 2006. Prior to joining us, from June 2002 to February 2005, Mr. Robert worked for Samsung Heavy Industries as the Vice President, EPIC Contracts. From January 2001 through September 2001, Mr. Robert was employed by Marine Drilling Companies, Inc. as the Vice President, Marketing. When we acquired Marine in September 2001, he became Pride’s Director of Business Development, where he served until June 2002. From November 1997 through December 2000, Mr. Robert was Managing Member of Maverick Offshore L.L.C. From January 1981 to November 1997, Mr. Robert was employed by Conoco Inc. Mr. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University.

Jay W. Swent, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Swent joined the Company in July 2003 and thereupon was elected to his present position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Swent previously held various financial executive positions in the information technology, telecommunications and manufacturing industries, including positions with Memorex Corporation and Nortel Networks. He served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Cyrix Corporation from 1996 to 1997 and Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer of American Pad and Paper Company from 1998 to 2000. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Swent had served as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Amrita Holdings, LLC since 2001. Mr. Swent holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.

David A. Armour , Vice President – Tax

Mr. Armour joined the Company in October 1990 and was elected Vice President - Tax in May 2011. Prior to his current position, Mr. Armour served as Vice President - Finance, and as Controller, and Assistant Controller. From 1981 to 1990, Mr. Armour served in various capacities as an employee of the public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP, and its predecessor firm, Touche Ross & Co. Mr. Armour holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

Gilles Bocabarteille, Vice President – Asset Management

Mr. Bocabarteille joined the Company in May 2011 as Vice President – Asset Management in connection with the acquisition of Pride International, Inc. He previously was Pride’s Vice President, Asset Management overseeing the condition and maintenance of Pride’s worldwide fleet. After starting his career with FORASOL as an engineer trainee, Gilles worked his way up within the organization and was appointed as Country Manager, Venezuela (1994–1996), then Offshore Operations Manager (1996–1998) during which time he was responsible for all operations of the offshore business unit. In 1999, he accepted the position of Commissioning Manager for the Pride Angola DPDS. He later took on the role of Operations Manager – Luanda, Angola (2002–2004) and was responsible for Pride Operations for TOTAL, and followed that position by being named General Manager, Macaé, Brazil (2005–2008.) Gilles received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Arts et Metiers “ENSAM” in France in 1991.

Mark T. Diehl, Vice President – Engineering

Mr. Diehl joined the Company in May 2011 as Vice President – Engineering in connection with the acquisition of Pride International, Inc. He previously was Pride’s Vice President, Engineering and Technical Support. Prior to that he was with BP, 2004-2010, and served in project management and engineering roles for deepwater drilling. Prior to BP, Mark worked for Transocean, 1982-2003, in a number of different positions both domestically and internationally. Mark graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and Sam Houston State University with a degree in Physics.

Michael B. Howe , Vice President – Finance (Corporate)

Mr. Howe joined the Company in February 2009 and was appointed Vice President - Finance in May 2011. Prior to his current position, Mr. Howe served the Company as Treasurer. Previously he served as Assistant Treasurer at Devon Energy Corp. He also held positions in various capacities at Enron Corp., BG Group PLC and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Howe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Texas at Austin.

Derek J. Kent, Vice President – Safety, Health & Environment

Mr. Kent joined the Company in 1998 and was appointed Vice President - Safety, Health & Environment in May 2011. Prior to his current position, Mr. Kent served as General Manager - Deepwater Business Unit, General Manager - Operations for the North & South America Business Unit, General Manager - Capital Projects in Singapore and Rig Manager for a number of Ensco rigs. Before joining the Company, Mr. Kent served in various management positions with Sedco Forex in England, Scotland, Nigeria, Gabon, Congo and Angola. Mr. Kent holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montana College of Mineral Science & Technology.

Brady K. Long, Vice President – General Counsel and Secretary

Mr. Long joined the Company in May 2011 as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in connection with the acquisition of Pride International, Inc. He was appointed to the same positions by Pride in August 2009 and was previously Pride’s Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel. He joined Pride in June 2005 after practicing corporate and securities law for BJ Services Company and Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Texas School of Law.

H.E. Malone, Jr. , Vice President – Finance (Eastern Hemisphere)

Mr. Malone joined the Company in August 1987 and was elected a Vice President of Ensco in December 2009. Prior to his current position, Mr. Malone served the Company as Vice–President Finance of Ensco Offshore International Company, Vice President-Finance, Vice President-Accounting, Tax and Information Systems, Vice President-Finance and Vice President-Controller. Mr. Malone holds Bachelor of Business Administration Degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of North Texas.

Sean P. O'Neill , Vice President – Investor Relations and Communications

Mr. O’Neill joined the Company in May 2009 as Vice President-Investor Relations. He has held similar positions at two Fortune 500 Companies and was managing director of strategic investor relations consulting at Thomson Financial (Thomson Reuters). Mr. O’Neill holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Fairfield University and a Masters of Business Administration from DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Mr. O’Neill is a member of DePaul University’s Finance Advisory Board.

Christopher T. Weber, Vice President and Treasurer

Mr. Weber joined the Company in May 2011 as Vice President and Treasurer in connection with the acquisition of Pride International, Inc. He previously served as Pride’s Vice-President, Operations Support and Vice-President Corporate Planning & Development. Prior to Pride, Mr. Weber was as a Principal at Boston Consulting Group from 2001 to 2005 where he advised energy clients on key strategic and operational issues. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Weber worked in a variety of domestic and international assignments at Enron. Mr. Weber received an MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 1995.

Michael K. Wiley, Vice President – Human Resources

Mr. Wiley joined the Company in 1993 as part of Ensco’s acquisition of Penrod and has 28 years of combined service time. His career includes assignments in a variety of disciplines including human resources, finance and accounting while in Singapore and Dallas. Mr. Wiley was elected Vice President-Human Resources and Security in July 2010. Mr. Wiley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Texas State University.

Douglas J. Manko , Controller

Mr. Manko joined the Company in May 2004 and was elected Controller in September 2008 and Assistant Secretary in 2010. Prior to his current position, Mr Manko served as Manager-Accounting Public Reporting. From 1996 to 2004, Mr. Manko served in various capacities as an employee of the public accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Manko holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College.
